Founder of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, has extended warm felicitations to Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the party’s 2023 presidential candidate, on the occasion of his 69th birthday.
In a goodwill message issued on Saturday in Lagos, Aniebonam described Kwankwaso as “a strong-willed and interesting personality” whose entry into the NNPP brought remarkable developments to the party.
“To Kwankwaso, whom I often call my younger brother due to our age difference, I wish him long life and a more fulfilled future as he marks his 69th birthday,” Aniebonam said.
Reflecting on their political journey, the NNPP founder noted that politics differs significantly from private life, emphasizing that in politics, there are “no permanent friends or enemies.”
“I found Kwankwaso to be an intriguing character. There is always a divine reason why people meet or part ways, and those reasons are orchestrated by the Almighty,” he added.
While acknowledging their differences over the NNPP leadership crisis, Aniebonam maintained that his goodwill toward the former Kano State governor remains sincere and unwavering.
“Life is larger than politics. I do not take political issues beyond the realm of politics. For me, humanity, kindness, compassion, and friendship always come first,” he said.
The NNPP chieftain expressed hope that Kwankwaso’s 69th birthday would be a time of reflection and renewed purpose, praying for God’s continued guidance, protection, and blessings upon him.
“Many happy returns to my younger brother, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso,” Aniebonam concluded.
