Corporate leaders, government officials and gospel music stars gather in Lagos to celebrate a year of resilience and gratitude.
SIFAX Group on Wednesday hosted the third edition of its Annual Thanksgiving and Praise Night, turning The Lagos Marriott Hotel, Ikeja, into a vibrant hub of worship, elegance and corporate fellowship.
The event, themed “God’s Faithfulness, Our Gratitude,” drew members of the Group’s board and management, staff, clients, senior government officials and key stakeholders, reinforcing the company’s long-standing culture of gratitude and unity.
Speaking on the significance of the gathering, the Group’s Chairman, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, described the night as an opportunity to appreciate God for His guidance and faithfulness throughout the 2025 business year.
“As we reflect on the outgoing year, it is evident that our achievements, resilience and progress were not by might nor by power, but by the grace and faithfulness of God,” Afolabi said, noting that despite economic headwinds and global uncertainties, the company remained anchored in stability and clarity.
The atmosphere remained charged with worship and praise from start to finish, as a rich lineup of gospel ministers delivered a blend of hymns, carols, praise and contemporary worship. Performances by Omotola Sax, the Ijebu Anglican Choir, Eyinju Jesu, the Nonso Choir, BJ Sax and Emma OMG set the tone for a night of spirited celebration.
The spiritual depth of the evening peaked with powerful ministrations by Adeyinka Alaseyori and Dare Justified, before climactic performances by Mercy Chinwo and Laolu Gbenjo brought the gathering to a memorable close.
Now in its third year, the SIFAX Group Annual Thanksgiving has become a defining fixture on the company’s calendar, underscoring its belief that acknowledging God as the source of success remains essential—even within a high-performing, competitive corporate environment.
