He described the send-forth ceremony as an exceptional honour and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve alongside officers, stakeholders and media professionals who contributed to his experience at Tin Can Island.
Ivara also acknowledged the immediate past Customs Area Controller, Assistant Comptroller-General of Customs Frank Onyeka, whom he credited with providing valuable support and an enabling environment that made his public relations responsibilities easier during his tenure.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of a framed table portrait to Ivara by Comptroller Anani on behalf of the command, alongside a reception attended by officers, stakeholders and invited guests.
Among those present were Public Relations Officers from other Customs formations, including Chief Superintendent of Customs Abubakar of the PTML Command and VU Ogagbor of the KLT Command.
