The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) announced the arrest of suspected bandits today near Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja. Acting on coordinated intelligence, security teams intercepted heavily armed suspects positioned along the airport perimeter.
Operatives from the Nigerian Army, Nigeria Police Force (NPF), and local security units launched a joint operation during an ongoing exercise. Four suspects were captured mid-escape, preventing potential threats to airport operations.
