The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Oyo/Osun Area , has effected a seamless leadership transition with the appointment of Deputy Comptroller of Customs, Moses Wale Adewole, as Acting Customs Area Controller, following the redeployment of Comptroller Gambo Iyere Aliyu to the Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone A, Lagos.
Speaking at the formal handover ceremony, Adewole expressed gratitude to the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, and the Service’s management for the confidence reposed in him. He described the appointment as a call to higher responsibility and pledged to uphold professionalism, integrity, discipline, and teamwork in advancing the mandate of the Service.
