Mrs Stella Osafile, who represents Amuwo Odofin Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly (LSHA), says two major roads in FESTAC Town have been captured under the state’s 2025 budget.

Osafile made this known on the sidelines of the LSHA 10th Constituency Stakeholders’ Meeting on Thursday in Lagos.
The theme of the meeting is, “Governance in Action: The Gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda”.
She said the inclusion of the roads was part of efforts to address long-standing infrastructure concerns in the community.

“Of the four cardinal roads in FESTAC Town, at least two have been captured in this year’s budget. Second Avenue is part of it,” Osafile said.
According to her, securing the projects was a major step toward improving mobility and restoring order in FESTAC.
She added that the intervention would be phased to ensure long-term impact.

The lawmaker, who engaged directly with constituents during the meeting, said her role was to ensure the community’s needs were effectively represented at thé Assembly.
Speaking on the ongoing “Take Back FESTAC” initiative, Osafile commended residents for their cooperation and commended Amuwo Odofin Local Government Chairman, Mr Lanre Sanusi, for his readiness to adopt responsibility for the community.

She described the collective effort as a necessary sacrifice for the future of FESTAC.
“Let’s restore our community. Let’s adopt our community. Our environment is our life. After now, work begins.
“This is just a stepping stone, a foundation. We begin to build on what has been achieved so far,” she said.
