The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), KLT Chapter, appreciates the Comptroller-General of Customs CGC, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR, for his proactive visit to the KLT Command to address critical concerns on the ongoing migration from NICIS to the B’Odogwu Traders Portal.
During the interactive session, our Chapter Chairman, Alhaji Ahmed Olajide Bello, highlighted operational challenges faced by members, particularly delays in transire processing from mother ports, which have hindered smooth cargo clearance.
The CGC assured swift intervention to resolve these bottlenecks, reaffirming the Service’s commitment to trade facilitation and stakeholder collaboration.
We commend the CGC’s recognition of ANLCA’s role in the industry, as demonstrated by the special invitation extended to our Chairman for the front-row photograph session.
This gesture underscores the importance of partnership between ANLCA and the NCS in achieving seamless port operations.
ANLCA KLT Chapter remains committed to supporting the B’Odogwu Trade Portal as an indigenous trade solution and urges members to remain patient as the NCS works to optimize the system.
We look forward to continued engagement with the Customs leadership at the Command for a more efficient trade environment.
