The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has published a list of businesses and companies allegedly making false claims about being registered with the commission.
The list includes companies with alleged registration dates spanning from 1973 to 2010, covering various sectors such as real estate, oil and gas, construction, and investment services.

The statement issued on Friday by Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, Registrar General of the CAC, cautioned the public to be wary of such misleading claims, noting that dealing with unregistered entities could expose individuals and businesses to fraud, legal disputes, and other risks.
