Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, Chairman of SIFAX Group, has said that delivering exceptional customer experience is essential for businesses to earn customers’ trust, strengthen loyalty and sustain long-term relationships.
Afolabi stated this during the celebration of this year’s Customer Service Week at the company’s headquarters in Lagos, noting that a strong customer-focused culture had contributed to the success of SIFAX Group’s subsidiaries across various sectors.
He said exceptional service goes beyond meeting customers’ expectations to creating lasting relationships built on trust, responsiveness and consistent service delivery.

In his message to customers, Afolabi expressed appreciation for their continued patronage and confidence in the group, adding that their support motivates the company to continually improve its service standards.
“Your patronage and partnerships inspire us to continually raise the standard of service we provide. At SIFAX Group, we believe that exceptional service is not just about meeting expectations but about creating experiences built on trust, responsiveness and lasting relationships,” he said.

He also thanked members of staff for their contributions to the company’s growth, wishing customers and employees a happy Customer Service Week and reaffirming the group’s commitment to going the extra mile to meet their needs.
Similarly, the Group Coordinating Director, Wunmi Eniola-Jegede, represented by the Director of Operations and Strategy, Oliver Omajuwa, commended staff for their role in translating the company’s vision into reality and building strong customer relationships through excellent service delivery.
Eniola-Jegede said customer service remained central to the group’s operations, stressing that customers were the lifeblood of the business.
“To us at SIFAX Group, every day is a Customer Service Day because the customers are the lifeblood of our company. We have positioned ourselves to respond, service and exceed the expectations of our customers every day,” she said.
She added that the celebration was an opportunity to appreciate customers for their continued support while recognising employees whose efforts were critical to delivering quality service.
The week-long celebration was held across the group’s subsidiaries and featured health talks, medical checks, town hall meetings, wellness and fitness sessions, customer visits and games.
Participants also marked the occasion with themed dress codes, including traditional attire, old-school fashion, corporate wear and sportswear.
Customer Service Week is celebrated annually to promote the importance of customer service and recognise the contributions of professionals who serve and support customers.
