SIFAX Group has commissioned a series of community projects in Isade-Elero and Pampa-Isade, Ijebu North-East Local Government Area of Ogun State, aimed at boosting education, trade, security, and social life in the area.
The projects include the Chief Samson Afolabi Centre for Information and Technology Services, a 100-seater ICT hub; the Isade Central Mosque; a community security office (Elero Security Post); 27 open market stalls; and a modern recreational facility.
They add to earlier interventions by SIFAX Group and its chairman, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, such as the construction of a health centre, regular road grading, and the building of St. Mark’s Church auditorium, hall, and vicarage—projects described as lifelines for the communities.
Speaking at the commissioning on Saturday, September 13, 2025, the chairman’s representative, Deacon Dr. Wale Afolabi, reaffirmed the group’s commitment to grassroots development through impactful investments across education, religion, and commerce.
“Dr. Taiwo Afolabi believes in social impact through infrastructural provision, human capital development, and economic empowerment for the vulnerable. That vision underpins the projects we are unveiling today,” he said.
Chairman of Ijebu North-East LGA, Hon. Folusho Badejo, applauded the intervention, noting that private initiatives like this complement government efforts.
“These are the kinds of projects we welcome, as they ease the burden on government and directly improve lives. I am particularly excited about the ICT centre and the market,” he said.
Community leaders also expressed gratitude. The Baale of Isade-Elero, Chief Moses Sunday Odunuga, described the projects as “a prayer answered,” while the Chief Imam of Isade Mosque, Rafiu Oluwakemi Lawal, and Revd Canon Mathew Kolade of St. Mark’s Anglican Church, commended the gesture as a unifying force for Christians and Muslims alike.
The commissioning ceremony featured cultural performances, parades, and poetry recitations, with residents turning out in large numbers to celebrate what they described as a renewal of hope, pride, and solidarity.
With these latest interventions, SIFAX Group has further underscored the transformative role of corporate social responsibility in uplifting rural communities and driving inclusive development.
