The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has concluded its Reputation Management Campaign in Zone ‘D’, Bauchi, marking the completion of a nationwide initiative aimed at strengthening integrity, boosting public trust, and enhancing service delivery across the Service.

The wrap-up session, held on Tuesday, August 18, 2025, at the Zone ‘D’ Headquarters, brought together officers from area commands for a final round of engagements focused on consolidating the Service’s reform agenda.

Delivering the keynote address, Acting Zonal Coordinator, Comptroller Musa Binga represented by Comptroller Matawalle Ibrahim of Bauchi/Gombe Command praised officers for their commitment and urged them to translate lessons from the campaign into their daily duties.

Participants described the exercise as timely and practical, noting that it equipped them with skills to project the Service positively and address misconceptions about its operations.

In his closing address, Deputy Comptroller Administration of Borno/Yobe Command, Adamu Mohammed, stressed that the initiative should extend beyond the campaign. “This is a call to action it must reflect in our culture, decisions, and interactions with the public,” he said.

With the conclusion in Zone ‘D’, the Reputation Management Campaign has now been extended to all operational zones nationwide, reinforcing the reform drive of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, MFR.
